See you in Germany and Switzerland for European Quadball Cup 2026!

Quadball Europe is the continental sports governing body for the sport of quadball. Operating as a non-profit association from Volketswil, Switzerland it unifies 18 national governing bodies. Quadball Europe’s main activities are organizing the European Quadball Cup, fostering communication and cooperation between the European national governing bodies, and promoting the sport’s values of gender equity, inclusivity, and integrity.

European Quadball Cup (EQC) is Europe’s top quadball event. Held yearly since 2012 in two divisions of 24 teams each on separate weekends, it is the world’s largest international quadball event. EQC Division 1 focusses on providing a competitive tournament between Europe’s top 24 club teams, qualifying through national competitions, and crowns the European Champion. EQC Division 2 is a competitive development tournament, providing each European country at least one of the 24 spots to compete and the chance to grow through international competitive experiences.

Quadball is a contact sport combining elements of Handball, Rugby, and Dodgeball to a competitive, fast-paced and highly tactical sportive experience played between two gender-mixed teams. Originally inspired in 2015 by the fictional sport ”Quidditch”, quadball since grew to its own sport, played in over 40 countries by thousands of athletes world wide. A gender rule limits the amount of players of the same gender in play at every moment, making it a truly gender mixed sport welcoming athletes of every gender.
