EQC2022 D2 – COVID-19

Update 04/04/2022, valid until 30/04/2022

At The Event

  • It is mandatory to wear an FFP2 mask, when not playing.
  • To enter the event, you must be in possession of a Basic Green Pass.
  • For indoor table consumption, you must be in possession a Super Green Pass.

Before Leaving

As of March 1, 2022, you can enter Italy without quarantine. In addition to filling out the Passenger Locator Form (always required) you will only need to hold a Green Pass certifying vaccination, recovery from the disease or negative COVID-19 test.

In detail, to enter or re-enter Italy from any foreign country, you need to:

  1. Fill out the Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy. The document must be shown to the carrier or whoever is in charge of departure checks. If you don’t have adequate technological means, you can download the printed version of the Passenger Locator Form.
  2. Show the EU Digital COVID Certificate or – for non-EU citizens – an equivalent green COVID-19 certification issued by your country’s health authorities, certifying one of the following: completed vaccination cycle with a vaccine recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA); full recovery from COVID-19; negative molecular or antigenic test.

You can find out the conditions of entry into Italy from your country with a couple of clicks at viaggiaresicuri.it You will be asked to indicate:

  1. Country of origin
  2. Country(ies) you have travelled through in the last 14 days
  3. Possession of EU citizenship or citizenship of a country in the Schengen Area
  4. Possession of registered residence in Italy as a long-term resident or kinship with a long-term resident residing in Italy

At the end of this process, you will be informed if there are any restrictions in place for travel to Italy from your country, the documentation you will have to present and the conditions applied on your arrival.

Those who, upon entry into Italy, do not show this documentation, can still enter but will have to undergo fiduciary quarantine for 5 days at the address specified in the Passenger Locator Form and inform the Department of Health Prevention competent for the area (see the page: COVID-19 Toll-free numbers and regional information). At the end of the 5-day quarantine period, you will need to perform additional molecular or antigenic testing.

Travel to and from the Republic of San Marino and the Vatican City State is not subject to any obligation or declaration.

Validity of Certifications

The certification of vaccination is valid for 9 months after completion of the vaccination cycle or administration of the booster dose.

The certification of recovery is valid for 6 months for those who have recovered without having previously completed the vaccination cycle.

Certification of negative COVID-19 test is valid for 48 hours from the time of collection in case of rapid antigenic test and 72 hours in case of molecular test.

Recognized Vaccines

The EMA currently recognizes the following vaccines:

  1. Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech)
  2. Spikevax (Moderna)
  3. Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca)
  4. Janssen Pharmaceutica NV (Johnson&Johnson)

Vaccination certifications issues by non-EU countries are valid for entry to Italy and for accessing services on Italian soil if obtained following full vaccination with one of the following vaccines:

  • Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech)
