Welcome to Limerick – EQC2022 D1 First Info

As announced earlier, EQC2022 Division 1 will take place in Limerick, Ireland on June 4-5th, 2022.

Our partners have prepared a video for you to showcase what Limerick will have to offer you.

Please note the video was produced originally for 2021, hence why EQC2021 is mentioned.

The Venue

Across the parkland campus of the University of Limerick (UL) you will find world-class playing
surfaces from top quality natural grass to FIFA and IRB approved synthetic pitches.

The pristine natural grass 10 acre pitch venue at UL is the ideal platform.

With capacity for 8 quidditch pitches, this space will help teams reach the pinnacle of their
performance in a competitive, yet enjoyable festival atmosphere.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available on site in six Olympic village style residences, offering a total of 2700 rooms, all equipped with free Wi-Fi and onsite parking. Each village has its own distinct character and is located in an attractive landscaped environment.

Each village has a designated area with dedicated staff members to assist with check-in, luggage storage, and any assistance you may require until check-out. Athletes can enjoy a private room provided in spacious shared apartments or houses with team mates and/or friends.

All athletes, volunteers and visitors will be hosted in Kilmurry Village (24 on the map / video) and Plassey Village (4 on the map / video). Both villages offer house style accommodations.

House Style

House style accommodation consists of 6/8 bedroom terraced houses. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and two bathrooms. Each bedroom has a wash hand basin. House accommodation also offers meeting spaces, limited free parking and a communal laundry area.
